1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SurrealCast ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SurrealCast is a streaming platform for AI-generated video content. We provide video hosting, streaming, monetization, and creator tools for AI-generated films and long-form content.

3. Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information during registration.
One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Content Guidelines

All content uploaded to SurrealCast must:

Be AI-generated or AI-assisted (with proper provenance declaration).
Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights.
Not contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful material.
Not contain unauthorized personal information of others.
Include accurate AI provenance metadata (models used, generation method).

5. Creator Terms

Creators retain ownership of their content.
By uploading, you grant SurrealCast a non-exclusive license to host, stream, and distribute your content on the platform.
All uploads are subject to quality review before publication.
Creators set their own pricing — videos can be free or pay-per-view at a price of the creator's choosing.
Creators keep 100% of revenue from video purchases and campaign donations. SurrealCast does not take a platform fee.
Payments are processed through Stripe and paid directly to the creator's connected Stripe account.
Creators are solely responsible for ensuring their AI-generated content does not infringe on third-party intellectual property or violate applicable laws.

6. Viewer Terms

SurrealCast is free to join and browse. Some videos may require a one-time payment set by the creator.
Paid video purchases grant permanent access — there is no time limit or expiration.
Campaign donations are voluntary contributions to support a creator's project. Donations are non-refundable once processed.
Paid video purchases are non-refundable once the video has been accessed. If you experience a technical issue preventing playback, contact support within 7 days of purchase.
You may not share, redistribute, record, or re-stream content from SurrealCast.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All content on SurrealCast is AI-generated or AI-assisted. SurrealCast does not guarantee the originality, accuracy, or legal compliance of any content uploaded by creators. AI-generated works may unintentionally resemble existing copyrighted material, trademarks, or likenesses. SurrealCast is not responsible for any claims arising from such resemblances. Responsibility lies solely with the creator who uploaded the content.

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to inflate view counts or engagement.
Attempt to circumvent DRM, watermarks, or access controls.
Share account credentials or playback tokens with others.
Self-stream your own content to artificially generate revenue.
Engage in device farming or any form of fraudulent streaming.

9. Fraud Detection

SurrealCast employs automated fraud detection systems. Sessions identified as fraudulent (bot streams, looping playback, abnormal velocity, self-streaming, device farming) will not generate revenue and may result in account suspension.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SurrealCast, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) content you upload or distribute through the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Creators whose content is removed for policy violations may forfeit pending revenue for the affected content.

12. Limitation of Liability

SurrealCast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to SurrealCast in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with its rules. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in Singapore. You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis — class actions and collective proceedings are not permitted.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
